The Countdown Begins
I come home in one week! Hooray! I'm so excited to see everybody:) Janette will be all dressed up for Homecoming and I get to go to Steph's baby shower, too! If I don't see you Friday, I'll see you Sunday! This is completely unrelated, but I read 1984 this week. It was weird, but really cool. Ang's blog about people no longer reading sounded somewhat harrowing when I had just finished a book where people almost never use pens and paper anymore. The minority rules and all others are kept ignorant. Scary. Next on my list(from similar authors/on similar topics): Animal Farm, Dandelion Wine, Fahrenheit 451.
Another unrelated announcement:
I posted a link on the side for another blog specifically for my poems. There's not much there yet, but check it out if you want, just letting you know it's there.
Have a great weekend!!! TGIF!

yay! can't wait to see you again! =) if you want another book to read along the lines of 1984, i would recommend 'The Giver' by Lois Lowry. it's written for adolescents so it's a fairly easy read. very, very good, though. i just had to read it for class and actually enjoyed it (enjoying a textbook? what a concept!).
You have time to read? I'll have tiem soon, I hope. Can't wait to see you! I'll look for you at the game.
time
i liked the giver, i needed more closure though at the end....
