Here I Am, and There You Are
Well, I am now at Clearwater Christian College. Everyone here is really nice, and I'm meeting people, but I still miss everyone back home (hence the title). Even though I'm away from everything familiar, I still take comfort that I'm not really here alone. I've not been abandoned. God is here with me, and His Word is a great comfort. The Psalmist so often is pleading for deliverance and for his very life. I'm only asking not to miss home so much and to get through this year well. It seems small and petty by comparison, doesn't it? God is here with me and He's there with you, wherever you are.Jennifer Bolan

welcome to blogger! =) yet another random assortment of thoughts to help me while away the time at work ... lol. glad you're doing well at clearwater.
hey jen! yay you're on blogger! i hope you are doing well at clearwater. i know what you mean about missing home cause i definitely miss it. but i am adjusting to liberty quite well and am making new friends! but i do really miss you and everyone else, especially kim :( but christmas is only four months away!!!
well i guess my advice is just to stay busy with school and to make friends... and of course totally rely on God (easier said than done)...remember that many people are feeling the same feelings of homesickness. things will get better once you get to know people and keeping up w/ schoolwork. Learn a lot and pray a lot. so theres my random advice

You are right. God is with us, even when we don't feel Him or see Him moving. He just wants us to keep trying to do the right thing and if we mess up to move on and really work on how we can keep from doing it again. But that's not what you were worried about, that was me! Anyways, glad you dedcided to join our group. This is a good way to stay in touch . . .
